I am currently working for Gomez Europe as a solutions engineer in the field of web performance monitoring.

I have until recently been working within the content delivery network space with a focus upon Internet TV opportunities.

My Background:

After graduating in 1996 from University of Wales, Swansea in Economics, trained as a journalist at De Montfort University under the NCTJ/PgDip scheme. Became increasingly involved with new media based projects since I had been using the Internet since 1993.

I have worked in a variety of technical support and project management positions within the IT/Internet sector for six years, largely in the hosting web development and online news environment.

I have a in depth knowledge and project management experience from building the web hosting platforms for mission critical applications within the data centre environment at Globix UK Ltd (www.globix.com), IXEurope plc (www.ixeurope.com), Konnex Managed Hosting (www.konnex.co.uk), Mirror Image Internet (www.mirror-image.com), Verisign UK (www.verisign.com) and now at Gomez Europe Ltd (www.gomez.com).
